Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable gardening, landscaping, or outdoor products
- Assist customers with product demonstrations, merchandising displays, and answering questions about horticulture or landscape maintenance
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts processing
- Support landscape maintenance activities by providing advice on gardening tools, plants, and landscape design solutions
- Manage inventory levels through merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure product availability
- Handle cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining organizational skills for smooth checkout processes
- Support e-commerce order fulfillment by preparing online orders for pickup or delivery when needed
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales techniques
- Familiarity with gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, and merchandising principles
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to assisting shoppers and resolving inquiries
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organizational skills
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and online order processing
