We are currently seeking Food and Beverage Associates (Server/Bartender) who can work our banquet catering events and assist with our Staybridge Social events when needed.

Ensure both hotel and local guests enjoy exceptional customer service, memorable facilities, and quality, value-priced dining at our restaurant and lounge

Assists with the set-up and tear down of banquet tables/chairs, furniture, and other equipment according to BEOs and Banquet Captain or Catering & Event Coordinators instructions

Providing exceptional hospitality, emphasizing personalized service and attentive treatment, to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable

Working as a member of the team to respond quickly and efficiently to event plan changes

Bussing tables between courses and after events

Delivering food and/or beverages according to the type of event service

Adhering to responsible service of alcohol guidelines

Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties throughout the shift to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards

Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day

Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentrates
-
Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.

Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
-
Preparing and setting up hot food items
-
Restocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next day

Washing serving equipment and returning to storage

Performing a variety of side work to prepare for all future catering events.

Performs other duties as assigned, to make sure the hotel delivers a flawless, unforgettable event
Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. The more you’re available to work – the more we will schedule you.

Must be 19 years of age.

Valid Food Safe Handlers Certificate required.

Valid Serve It Right (SIR) Certificate required.

Excellent customer service skills.
