Our boutique Cochrane law firm is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our growing practice. The successful candidate will work primarily in family law, with opportunities to assist clients with wills and estates matters.
We are ideally looking for a junior lawyer with one to four years of family law experience. However, candidates with more extensive experience are also encouraged to apply and will be given full consideration.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta;
- Experience handling family law matters, including courtroom litigation;
- Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills;
- Sound judgment and the ability to manage files with appropriate independence;
- A practical, client-focused approach; and
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
