Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Sales Associate & Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. This dual‑role position combines hands‑on warehouse operations with customer‑facing sales support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and responsibility.
The successful candidate will be a skilled forklift operator who plays a key role in maintaining efficient product flow, accurate inventory management, and a clean, well‑organized workspace—both in the warehouse and at the front counter. This position also provides coverage for sales staff during vacations and sick days. This position also make it possible to earn extra money on top of the wage offered by earing commission.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Fill customer orders and arrange the shipping using various platforms.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in building pallets for storage or shipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating a forklift and moving pallets with a pallet jack.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and best practices.
- Experience using warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment learning our products and systems to assist customers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of how a POS is used would be an asset.
- Past experience with epoxy would be considered as a top qualification.
