Job Title:Rig Mat Builder
Setting: Outdoors
Location: 10285 Dallas Drive, Kamloops, BC, V2C 6T4
Hours: Monday to Friday / 6:00am to 2:15pm with option for overtime
Duties: Placing rig mat blocks into rig mat frame, operating hydraulic jack, assisting loader operator in guiding rig mats into stacks, snow shoveling when required, assisting loader operator in loading trucks, sawing blocks to size on band saw, notching blocks on rig mat saw and general cleanup.
Requirements: Physically fit, willingness to learn, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and ability to lift 50lbs.
PPE Requirements: CSA approved steel-toed boots and proper outdoor clothing for all seasons (especially fall, winter and spring months).
Employer Supplied PPE: Safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, coveralls, hardhat, welding helmet, and hi-vis vest.
Compensation: $22/hour
