About us
Squido Studio is a Montréal video game studio building vibrant, social, immersive worlds in XR. Our new project is a playable reality show: a romance micro-drama for mobile where the player is on the show, and every scene is AI-illustrated live as she plays. The engine works. What it needs now is an artist who can give it a look nobody else has, and keep that look coherent across thousands of images, video clips, and voices.
What you'll make
- Style systems, not one-off images: style sheets and prompt bibles that define vibrant, signature looks, and hold them, generation after generation, across image AND video models
- Casts that stay themselves: character reference kits (face/outfit/prop systems, reference-image chains, LoRAs if that's your stack) so a character is still unmistakably her in image 500 and clip 50
- Video moments: the kiss, the betrayal, the walk-out, short AI-generated clips at story climaxes, plus trailers and ad creatives built from them
- Voices: casting and directing AI voices so each character sounds as consistent as she looks
- The coherence gate: you own on-model. First-frame quality checks, drift audits, and the documented rules that keep the whole pipeline inside the style
- The lab: new tools drop monthly and testing them is literally part of the job, what works gets folded into the pipeline, with your name on it
Who you are
- You already make AI visual work people can see, a YouTube channel, an Instagram, a TikTok, a Civitai or X account. Think of the creators behind the AI micro-drama and AI-gossip channels blowing up right now: we want that person, in-house, before everyone else finds them
- Consistency is your obsession. Anyone can generate one great image; you can generate the five-hundredth one with the same face, the same ear cuff, the same light
- Fluent across the current image and video stack (Midjourney / Flux / SD + ComfyUI, Kling / Veo / Runway / Seedance, whatever's best this month), and genuinely happy that the list will be different next quarter
- You have taste: you can invent a look that's vibrant and ownable, illustrated, editorial, emotional, and you can say no to the default AI aesthetic
- You think in story, not just frames: hooks, tension, romance, the cliffhanger cut. You could be the perfect hire to make AI micro-dramas, in video or as a webtoon.
Bonus points
- You draw or paint and can hand-finish key frames (this matters to us for IP reasons, we'll explain in the interview)
- Fluency in romance and reality-TV visual language: golden hour, cast promos, title cards
- Editing/motion chops (caption styles, vertical pacing) · AI voice/music tools
The path
The contract delivers our launch casts and the style bible. Do it well and this becomes an ongoing role that owns the entire visual pipeline of the product, a core creative seat, early, in a studio betting big on exactly your skill set.
