Locum Dentist Opportunity
September 7, 2026 – January 31, 2027
Bear Creek Dental in Grande Prairie, Alberta, is seeking a Locum Dentist to provide coverage from September 7, 2026, through January 31, 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, well-established practice with a loyal patient base, an existing full schedule, modern technology, and a highly supportive clinical team.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues
- Provide restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental treatments
- Document patient records accurately using Curve Dental or similar electronic health record systems
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain sterilization standards in the dental office
- Stay updated on the latest dental techniques and industry best practices
Experience & Qualifications
- Valid license to practice dentistry in Alberta and in good standing with the Alberta Dental Association.
- Previous experience in a general dental practice is preferred.
- Proficiency in all aspects of general dentistry with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Experience using Curve Dental or other electronic dental record (EDR) systems is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and team members.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a patient-centered approach to care.
