Position Overview
The Ad Operations Specialist will work closely with the Ad Operations team to execute, monitor, and optimize digital advertising campaigns. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a willingness to learn programmatic advertising platforms and industry best practices.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where campaign performance and operational accuracy are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Management
- Set up, launch, and manage digital advertising campaigns across multiple DSP platforms.
- Configure targeting, budgets, pacing, creatives, tracking, and campaign settings.
- Conduct quality assurance checks before campaign launch.
- Monitor campaign delivery and identify pacing or performance issues.
Campaign Optimization
- Analyze campaign performance and make optimization recommendations.
- Monitor KPIs including CTR, CPA, conversion rates, engagement metrics, and pacing.
- Assist with audience targeting refinements and inventory management.
- Implement optimization strategies under guidance from senior team members.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare campaign performance reports and dashboards.
- Validate campaign data and investigate discrepancies.
- Support performance reviews and post-campaign analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting processes.
Operational Support
- Assist with creative trafficking and asset management.
- Support campaign troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Document workflows, processes, and platform procedures.
- Participate in on-boarding and training initiatives for future team growth.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in media buying, ad operations, programmatic advertising, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience managing campaigns within DSPs, programmatic advertising platforms, or digital media buying environments.
- Strong understanding of digital media metrics including CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, Conversion Rate, ROAS, and campaign pacing.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with DSPs or programmatic advertising platforms is an advantage.
- Experience working in performance marketing environments is an advantage.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for campaign analysis, reporting automation, audience research, and operational workflows.
