Josh's Gas Service is a growing HVAC and gas service company specializing in residential and commercial gas appliance service, installation, and repair. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Gas Technician 2 (G2) to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service gas-fired appliances
- Troubleshoot and repair furnaces, boilers, water heaters, fireplaces, and pool heaters
- Install and modify gas piping systems
- Perform appliance installations and start-ups
- Complete service documentation and communicate findings to customers
- Ensure all work complies with current TSSA regulations and gas codes
- Work independently in the field while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Gas Technician 2 (G2) License
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on service experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience servicing pool heaters, boilers, and furnaces
- Thorough understanding of TSSA gas codes and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing field work in various conditions
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
