Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hybrid HVAC Technician and experienced Plumber at SMR Plumbing & Heating. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The hybrid technician will work closely with clients to ensure their systems operate efficiently and effectively.
The expectation is to maintain clear communication with the project manager and clients, and to work on a variety of projects including new construction, renovations, and routine maintenance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential plumbing.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or
- Positive and professional attitude
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair work
- Ability to interpret blueprints and building codes
- Effective communication with project managers, clients, and on-site trades
- Experience with gas fitting (asset)
- Physically able to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Backflow Certification (asset)
- Registered Journeyperson Plumbing Certification and License in BC (asset)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Pay: $35.00-$46.00 per hour
