Truss Assembler – Construction

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime hours possible during peak periods.
The wage range for this position is $20.00-$23.50/hour, based on your skills and experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
· Preparing and assembling pre-fabricated roof trusses
· Using hand tools and power tools
· Picking orders
· Stacking lumber at saws
· Assisting with the movement of semi-finished and finished product
· KOTT Production employees may occasionally be assigned to work in other production areas on Moodie Drive based on workload, regardless of their primary department.
What you need to succeed
· Experience with power tools
· Experience working with your hands
· Framing experience is considered a strong asset
· Forklift experience is considered a strong asset
· Strong safety focus
· Ability to work well as part of a team
· Self-motivated, hardworking, positive
· Attention to detail
· Ability to communicate well in English
Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required – KOTT will provide other PPE
