We are looking for an HR professional who is practical, approachable, and confident working directly with managers and employees. This is a temporary full-time position with a 6 month contract.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration while taking ownership of improving existing programs and processes.
Responsibilities

Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation while promoting leadership accountability

Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees

Administer key HR processes and documentation, including offer letters, onboarding, employee records, and employment-related correspondence

Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and HR best practices across the organization

Identify opportunities to improve and strengthen existing HR programs, processes, and employee experiences.
Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, or a related field
- CHRP designation or working toward completion is considered an asset
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience
- Experience supporting employee relations and performance management activities
- Full-cycle recruitment experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build credibility with managers while remaining firm and consistent when required
- Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems

Expected Base Compensation: $5,800-$6,600 monthly
