Calnash Trucking Ltd. is currently looking for an adaptable, motivated, experienced individual to join our operations team as a Dispatcher.
Expectations include but are not limited to:
- Schedule driver routes to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and equipment.
- Coordinate and organize permit routes for overweight & over dimensional loads.
- Ability to provide quotations and respond to RFP’s.
- Work closely with operations team to maintain a continuous knowledge on projects.
- Coordinating personnel and equipment for designated projects.
- Answering and directing calls during regular business hours as well as on call after hours.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience working in a transportation dispatching role.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of Dispatch Operations.
- Working knowledge of applicable legislation and standards. (Federal OHS/NSC, State/Provincial DOT regulations) an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
