Position Summary
Wolf Creek Cabinets is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our production team. The successful candidate will assemble custom kitchen cabinets and related components while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This role requires the ability to work with hand and power tools, follow production drawings, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble custom kitchen cabinets, drawers, and cabinet components according to production drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, shop drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Install hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, handles, and other cabinet accessories.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report damaged materials or production issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with packaging and preparing completed cabinets for delivery.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous cabinet assembly, woodworking, or manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to read measuring tapes and perform basic measurements accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Working Conditions
- Indoor & Outdoor manufacturing environment.
- Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive hand movements are required.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $15.50-22.50 per hour
- Overtime paid in accordance with Alberta Employment Standards, where applicable.
