You’ll be responsible for unloading all freight, scanning and sorting them to their designated areas to be prepared for delivery.
Current Shift Openings
- Overnights, approx. 12:00am - 7:45am
Responsibilities
- Carefully unload parcels that arrive daily, ensuring careful handling and organization
- Sort, scan, and label parcels according to the manifest, keeping all packages accounted for
- Collaborate with other departments to place packages in designated areas for the delivery team
- Meet the daily sorting targets to maintain an efficient workflow and keep everything on schedule
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stoop, bend, walk, and stand for long periods of time
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the delivery center early in the morning
- Must be proficient in English, both written and verbally
- CSA Approved Steel Toe Shoes
- Be willing to be subject to a background check; clearance is required
