YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting initially to the Manager Metallurgy Ontario, you will be part of the Upper Beaver Mill Management Team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the mill, its systems and processes are fully prepared for start-up and ongoing operation. You will coordinate between the various project stakeholders to verify that all training, documentation, and procedures are in place before the project goes live. You will be identifying potential risks, organizing readiness assessments, and facilitating communication to ensure a smooth transition from project development to operational.

Provide technical input to the development and implementation of plant operational strategies, projects, budgets and plans to support production objectives;

Provide project team technical support during detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phases to ensure seamless transition and ownership;

Implement best practices and lessons learned from other Agnico operations to optimize operation readiness and performance.;

Develop and implement a comprehensive Operations Readiness Plan aligned with project milestones and operational objectives;

Ensure procedures, systems, training, and documentation are in place and validated before plant start-up.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in chemical, mineral processing or metallurgical engineering with eligibility for P.Eng registration with the PEO;

Minimum five years’ experience working in a senior metallurgical role;

Gold and copper mineral processing experience;

Strong knowledge of project Commissioning, and Handover & Completion process & procedures;

Capable of working autonomously and organising time and resource to achieve work deliverables to defined standards.

Your Work Schedule:

Schedule: 5/2 schedule is preferred but open to negotiation;

This role is eligible for the Ontario Regional Teleworking Policy, with periodical site visits as required.

Minimum Salary : 106,000CAD Maximum Salary : 140,000CAD
