Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves designing engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students of varying ages and skill levels. Bilingual proficiency and classroom experience are highly valued to ensure effective instruction and cultural exchange. Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive French language lessons tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels
- Create engaging, interactive activities to enhance language acquisition and cultural understanding
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and informal evaluations
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum content and teaching strategies
- Incorporate multimedia resources and technology to enrich the learning experience
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement
Experience
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required
- Prior teaching experience in a classroom setting is preferred
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special education needs, is a plus
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment methods in language education
- Previous experience working in educational or cultural exchange programs is advantageous
