NOW HIRING: Security Guard / Bouncer
Gallery Calgary is looking for confident, professional, and reliable security staff to join our nightlife team. We’re seeking individuals who can help create a safe, high-energy, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of nightclub, bar, venue, or event security experience preferred
- Valid Alberta Security License (ProTect)
- Comfortable working in high-volume nightlife environments
- Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills
- Physically fit, alert, and dependable
- First Aid & CPR certification is an asset
- Availability for late-night weekend and holiday shifts required
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances, guest flow, and crowd management
- Verify IDs and support venue policies
- Handle disturbances and assist with safe patron removal when necessary
- Work alongside management and bar staff during busy service hours
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
- Help maintain a safe, enjoyable, and controlled atmosphere
