Company Overview:
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Western Canada, we are a rapidly growing distributor of essential consumer and business products supporting workplace safety, hygiene, and efficiency across North America.
We’ve built a strong presence through wholesale and e-commerce and manage, logistics, and fulfillment in-house to ensure speed and reliability. Our team is purpose-driven and collaborative, focused on simplifying business operations while delivering real value through trust, adaptability, and results.
The Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Warehouse Lead to run our Delta fulfillment warehouse that operates 3 days/week. You will lead a small team of up to 3 people, drive our wholesale, Amazon and ecommerce shipments start to finish, and keep inventory organized, accurate and moving.
This role manages the warehouse floor with little oversight. That means spotting problems before they happen, acting without being told, and being the person who shows up when something goes wrong.
You will report to our Operations Manager. This is a warehouse management role for someone who communicates clearly, works fast, and takes pride in a well-run warehouse. It is also hands-on. You will be on the floor, on the equipment, and building pallets alongside your team.
It is part time by design as our operating hours are 3 specific days per week.
The Schedule:
- Mondays - 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Tuesdays - 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Thursdays - 12:00pm to 4:00pm
While our standard hours are above, occasional work outside these days is required, most often when containers arrive. We provide advance notice whenever possible, though urgent situations may occasionally require next-day availability.
Role & Responsibilities:
Running the warehouse
- Own shipping/receiving and organizing of all warehouse inventory, and keep the warehouse clean, organized and running efficiently
- Keep equipment in proper working order, and flag repairs, new equipment, or supply reorders before they become a problem
- Fulfilling all orders
- Lead, manage and schedule a team of 2-3 staff, setting the standard for organization, accuracy and productivity
- Hold the team to that standard, and address it directly when it slips
- For container receiving days, schedule and supervise the 3rd party destuff crew and put away the finished pallets
- Provide a clear end-of-day handoff on work completed and next steps
Amazon FBA and ecommerce shipments
- Build and complete Amazon FBA shipments start to finish, with a target of 5 pallets per day on Mondays and Tuesdays
- Pallet building, wrapping, labelling and loading
- Create shipping manifests and BOLs, and send out shipments
- Manage shipment strategy to keep shipping costs down, including consolidating loads and coordinating carrier pickup
Inventory and accuracy
- Keep inventory tracking accurate on an on-going basis. Reconcile counts, check transfers, and maintain organized inventory.
- Process Amazon and store returns, inputting inventory back into our system
- Receive invoices, verify quantities and pricing, and flag damaged or missing product to the right contacts
- Report discrepancies rather than working around them
Equipment and safety
- Operate a forklift and reach truck, retrieving and putting away pallets from the floor and from racking
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report defects immediately
- Keep the floor, dock and staging areas clean, organized and safe
