Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team.[email protected] The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing both driving skills and equipment operation expertise. A valid commercial driver’s license and experience with heavy equipment are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight across local, regional, or national routes
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Conduct basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair is a plus
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Experience with freight handling, loading/unloading procedures, and safety regulations in transportation industry
This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safe driving practices, efficient freight handling, and maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adhering to schedules.
Pay: $19.95-$36.50 per hour
