Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Sourcing Materials GDS Advisor II to join their team. As a Sourcing Materials GDS Advisor II, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting procurement and sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Coordinate pre- and post-bid meetings to discuss deliverables and supplier qualifications.
- Research sources of supply, review sole source validity, and determine procurement methods.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, delivery, and other contractual aspects with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address inefficiencies as needed.
- Maintain records in accordance with policies, procedures, and audit guidelines.
What's Needed?
- A related university degree with 4+ years of procurement experience.
- Ability to research and analyze market conditions and industry trends.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience with procurement documentation and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in supporting cost-saving initiatives and supplier qualification processes.
