is seeking a Senior Accountant based in Saskatoon SK
Many Nations Financial Services Ltd. is an insurance brokerage firm based in Saskatoon SK offering group life and health benefits and retirement solution to clients across Canada.
Do you have a combination of education and/or experience to perform full-cycle accounting? If so, consider joining our team!
We are seeking an individual that:
- is well organized with exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines;
- understands business flows, accounting principles and internal controls;
- is familiar with SAGE 300 or similar accounting software;
- values accuracy and attention to detail;
- is experienced completing payroll that is a combination of hourly and commission employees using Dayforce;
- has excellent excel skills;
- possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to interpret financial data and identify issues;
- prepares monthly and quarterly financial reports and presents to the Board of Directors quarterly;
- performs administrative duties for the Many Nations Multi-Employer Pension Plan;
- performs other duties as required (for example insurance renewals);
- fosters a positive organizational culture and work environment.
Qualifications Skills and Experience
1. combined education and experience to perform full-cycle accounting duties and all other responsibilities entailed in the role;
2. possess excellent financial management skills;
3. proven capability to work as a member of a team;
4. an appreciation and sensitivity to the diversity of opinions, skills and talents of others.
