Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Houseperson to join our team at Old House Hotel & Ohspa. In this role, you support the comfort and satisfaction of Old House Hotel guests by helping ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, properly stocked, and ready for arrival. Working in alignment with the Hotel’s service culture, operational expectations, and established housekeeping procedures, this role supports the daily efficiency and success of the Housekeeping team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Room Attendants to help prepare guest rooms efficiently.
- Maintain housekeeping closet inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Respond to guest requests for items such as towels, coffee, and cribs.
- Collect dirty linen, garbage, and recycling from housekeeping carts and closets.
- Clean assigned public areas to hotel standards.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and stairs.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
- Make beds and assist with room set-up when required.
- Dust furniture and surfaces.
- Clean windows and mirrors as needed.
- Report maintenance problems to the Housekeeping / Maintenance Manager.
- Follow lost and found rules and report items right away.
- Keep guest rooms secure and respect guest privacy at all times.
- Perform other duties as required.
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
- Good communication and organization skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be available weekends and holidays.

Pay: $20.00-$21.05 per hour
