Required Qualifications:
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of, and willingness to support SJGHEL’s Mission, Vision & Values of Compassion, Humility &

- Knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
- Reliable and conscientious with great attention to detail
- Aptitude in using appropriate tools and procedures
- Basic math skills
- Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.
- Familiar with building maintenance techniques, equipment systems, fire and safety regulations
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety precautions
- Ability to work night shifts and weekend shifts
- Able to work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Available for afterhours stand-by (if required).
Assets:
- Bilingual
- Experience as a painter in a commercial/institutional setting
- Experience in hospital maintenance work (i.e., plumbing, HVAC and carpentry)
- Experience in flooring repairs and installation
- Experience in snow removal, motorized equipment and small tractor.

Pay: $25.45-$27.40 per hour
