Richelieu Hardware is looking for a WAREHOUSE – MATERIAL HANDLER for our Barrie, Ontario branch.
2 opening positions.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:

Provide superior customer service and retrieve orders.

Assist in gathering materials to build loads/orders.
-
Assist truck drivers to load various building supplies onto trucks for delivery.
-
Operate the forklifts once training and certification has been achieved.
-
Help unload transport trucks with product.
-
Practice proper material handling techniques to ensure minimal damage to inventory.
-
Keep the workspace area clean and presentable in appearance.
Requirements :
-
Current Forklift Certification.
-
Good knowledge of safe working procedures.
-
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding work environment.

Professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service.

Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
-
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
1-2 years previous warehouse work experience.
-
Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.

Dependable and reliable.

Experience and knowledge in building materials.
