We are looking to hire a front desk agent to join our team at Super 8 Winnipeg East. We have an opening for shifts 7am-3:pm and 3 pm -11 pm, with approximately 32-40 hours per week. You will have leadership skills to deliver the highest standards of excellence through Genuine Care for our guests. Co-workers appreciate the positive energy you bring to the team, as well as your ability to have fun while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. Your smile and attitude are infectious! This full time position includes some daytime, evening and weekends shifts as required.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Manage phone systems with professionalism, providing accurate information and courteous assistance
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, billing, and special requests
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Provide information about property amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest stays
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations at all times
- Ensure front desk and lobby remains clean, organized and welcoming
- Prepare daily reports and end-of-day documentation and complete updates
- Verify accuracy of guest accounts, charges and postings and communicate important information to next shift during handover
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle guest relations professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities and be dependable
