Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational and Management:
- Reviews affordable Housing applications and does the necessary reference checks.
- Meets with walk in applicants, deals with incoming calls of complaints and maintenance orders.
- Prepares tenant warnings and eviction notices to tenants and follows up on any incident reports of clients.
- Prepare Administrative letters, faxes, memos, calls for all clients.
- Views suites to check for damage and cleaning that is required. Weekly debriefs with Director.
- Prepares rentals man claims and attends rentals man hearings.
- Makes arrangements with staff to complete move in or move out.
- Gather any relevant information for insurance claims.
- Maintains video surveillance cameras in all properties.
- Completes and submits annual project data report annually.
- Meets with Crime Free multi–Housing Program
- Contacts and meets with Executive Director/Director of the Supportive Living Homes for any housing issues (i.e. maintenance, cleanliness of buildings or MSS concerns).
- Follows up with MSS for any outstanding issues (guarantee letters, overdue rent payments and pro-rated rents) Meets with Executive Director on outstanding invoices.
- Meets with the Finance Department regarding any tenant arrears, outstanding damage deposits and tenant write offs.
- Provide the Finance Department with the rent roll-report at the end of every month.
- Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products, and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
- Other Duties assigned.

JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES:
§ Bachelors degree in Business Management or equivalent.
§ Three years’ experience managing staff members.
- Knowledge of federal and provincial legislation affecting charities.
-Strong financial management acumen; knowledge of accounting procedures and protocols, budget administration and financial forecasting, analysis and reporting
- Strong project management experience; ability to develop, monitor and evaluate multiple projects with multiple deliverables and deadlines. Ability to plan, organize and lead the implementation of plans and processes.
-Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
