In this role, you will provide expert hair styling services such as hair extensions, braids, cornrows, highlights, color, etc. while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Perform hair extensions, such as weaves, fusion, k tips, braids etc
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations
- Engage in upselling retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and personalized care
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques to deliver innovative styles
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques, coloring, treatments, and sanitation protocols
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage appointments efficiently
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus
- A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by local regulations
