We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household and commercial appliances. The Appliance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality repair services efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns
- Test repaired appliances to ensure proper functionality before returning to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering questions
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all repair activities
- Assist with assembly or installation of new appliances when required
Experience
- Prior electrical experience is highly preferred, with a solid understanding of electrical systems in appliances
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance repair is essential
- Experience with schematics, HVAC systems, or assembly work is a plus
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Previous experience working with appliance repair tools and diagnostic equipment is desirable
