Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physicians’ orders and legal regulations
- Provide expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to patients and healthcare providers
- Monitor patient medication therapy for safety and effectiveness, making recommendations as needed
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medication records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients on proper medication administration, adherence, and storage practices
- Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license in good standing with relevant licensing boards
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to healthcare delivery
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
