We are looking for a Operations Associate to join our North American operations team. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end intermodal transportation lifecycle , ensuring seamless coordination across customers, carriers, and internal teams.
This is a fast-paced, highly operational role where no two days are the same. You will manage shipments across domestic and cross-border (US/Canada) flows , handle high-impact accounts, and proactively resolve issues to protect service delivery.
This position is based in the Mississauga office , with occasional travel to the Caledon location as part of a multi-site operational setup.

- Manage the end-to-end execution of intermodal shipments , including FTL and LTL movements
- Coordinate closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Take ownership of issue resolution , proactively preventing service failures and minimizing disruption
- Support dispatch planning and execution , including scheduling deliveries and pickups
- Monitor performance against KPIs and take action to improve service delivery outcomes
- Identify root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions with stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with vendors and ensure optimal performance for cargo movement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

- Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations (or transferable skills)
- Knowledge of imports/exports between Canada and the US, as well as domestic transportation is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with dispatching or transportation planning systems is a plus
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple shipments and stakeholders simultaneously
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to act with urgency in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Offi ce tools, particularly Excel
- French bilingual skills are considered an asset
- Location: Mississauga, ON (with occasional travel to Caledon)

- Work Model: Office-based with multi-site collaboration
- Travel: Limited travel between local sites (~30–45 minutes)
- Compensation: Approx. CAD $53,000 – $63,000 annually (based on experience)
