Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and hang drywall sheets accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Install insulation, soundproofing materials, and other wall components as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation
- Assist with metal stud framing, when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall installation on construction sites or remodeling projects
- Knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading techniques is an asset
- Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites and adherence to OSHA standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project needs
- Valid Class G license as this job may require travel within the county
