Cook / Kitchen Hand – The Nomad Gourmet
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team at The Nomad Gourmet!
Our work is a little different every day. From weddings and private events to corporate lunches and catering, you’ll be helping wherever needed to keep things running smoothly. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, don’t mind getting your hands dirty, and like being part of a great team, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Food prep and basic cooking
- Assisting with service at weddings, events, and catering jobs
- Working on our food trailer and grill
- Line cooking and plating dishes
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean
- Restocking supplies and helping with setup and cleanup
- Following food safety and sanitation standards
- Jumping in wherever needed to help the team
What we’re looking for:
- Kitchen or food service experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organized, and willing to learn
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends for events
This is a casual, flexible position with a variety of work. No two days are the same, and you’ll get experience in everything from prep and cooking to catering and food trailer service. If you enjoy working hard, learning new skills, and being part of a fun team, we’d love to meet you.
Pay: $16.20-$25.00 per hour
