What is the Opportunity?
As a Senior Manager with Wealth Management Performance Management, you will provide insightful financial analytics & decision support, including funding transfer pricing (FTP), revenue, non-interest expenses (NIE), Enterprise Wide Stress Testing (EWST), and other metrics for the Wealth Management (WM) business. Reporting to the Director Wealth Management (WM) Finance, this position will undertake advisory, analytics and decision support capacity for the WM business and communicate relevant analytical insights to senior Finance and Wealth Management Executives audience.
What Will You Do?
Develop insightful drivers-based analyses on WM performance using key industry metrics on revenue (including net interest income and FTP), non-interest expense (including allocation), client assets, and balance sheet
Provide value-added strategic financial advice to senior management including the the Group Executive and WM Operating Committee
Through value-added advice, enable early identification of opportunities and issues and make actionable strategic recommendations that support long-term segment performance
Work closely with finance and other business partners to enhance WM Performance Management capabilities and drive continuous improvement
Collaborate on successfully delivering on a challenging portfolio of projects and initiatives

Lead WM Finance’s role in reporting and analysis of balance sheet management including various liquidity allocation to the WM Platform, credit, and deposit product profitability analysis

Take proactive actions to understand capital management including Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) to identify balance sheet opportunities

Deep-dive analysis on non-interest expense (NIE), including collaborating with T&O and function Finance team to identify potential opportunities for cost savings across the platform

Lead/assist the design and implementation of new standardized processes to simplify, innovate and automate analysis

Review EWST model, including model results/documentation and communicate key narratives to a wide array of stakeholders
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
-
Accounting/Finance designation (CPA, CFA, or equivalent)

5+ years of related experience within financial services

Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly and concisely articulate business performance and analysis

Previous experience in translating data into compelling visual stories, supporting strategic decision making

Solid relationship management skills since frequent interaction with key contacts is necessary to be successful in this role

Attention to detail and organized with a sense of urgency and ability to handle demands from multiple directions and priorities

Ability to take initiative, coupled with strong problem solving and analytical skills
-
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset

Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have

Previous experience working in the Wealth Management Finance area

Working knowledge of TM1 and Perspectives and any relational database applications

Knowledge of Macros/VBA, SQL, and/or Python
