Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Home Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods to customers’ homes, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and possess strong communication skills. A background in moving, forklift operation, or warehouse experience is a plus. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential locations
- Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Assist with moving heavy or bulky items as needed, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; standard driver’s license required
- Experience in warehouse operations, moving, or forklift operation is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to operate moving equipment such as forklifts is beneficial but not required
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential

Pay: $17.20-$30.26 per hour
