Healthmax Ottawa is a growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic providing chiropractic care, physiotherapy, massage therapy, active rehabilitation, and injury management services to Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), WSIB, Extended Health Care (EHC), and private-pay patients. We are seeking a motivated and rehabilitation-focused Chiropractor to join our team.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, and motor vehicle accident-related injuries. The Chiropractor will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in developing comprehensive treatment plans focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care
- Perform comprehensive chiropractic assessments and examinations.
- Establish diagnoses and communicate findings clearly to patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs.
- Provide evidence-based chiropractic treatment, manual therapy, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation recommendations.
- Monitor patient progress and perform reassessments as required.
MVA Case Management
- Assess and manage Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) patients.
- Complete and maintain all required MVA documentation, including:
- OCF-3 Disability Certificate
- OCF-18 Treatment and Assessment Plan
- OCF-23 Minor Injury Guideline (MIG) Treatment Confirmation Form
- OCF-24 MIG Extension Requests
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, legal representatives, and healthcare professionals as required.
- Identify patients requiring additional assessments such as concussion, psychological, chronic pain, or specialist referrals.
WSIB Management
- Assess and manage workplace injuries.
- Complete WSIB forms and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and manage Programs of Care (POC).
- Assist with return-to-work planning and communication with employers and WSIB representatives.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with physiotherapists, massage therapists, physiotherapy assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop coordinated treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies.
- Participate in case discussions and team-based patient management.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Complete reports, reassessments, and correspondence within required timelines.
- Ensure compliance with College of Chiropractors of Ontario standards and clinic policies.
QualificationsRequired
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Strong assessment, treatment, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic.
- Experience managing MVA, WSIB, EHC, and private-pay patients.
- Experience completing OCF-3, OCF-18, OCF-23, OCF-24, and WSIB documentation.
- Experience with concussion, chronic pain, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Strong patient education and treatment planning skills.

Pay: From $46.00 per hour
