Job Summary
We are looking for energetic, friendly, and responsible team members to join our outdoor water recreation business operating Water Walking Balls and Bicycle Boats. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and being part of a fun and active environment.
This is a seasonal position expected to begin around the second week of June and continue until approximately September.
Work Location: Outdoor lakefront recreational site located near Centennial Park, Sylvan Lake.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cashier/POS system and handle payments
- Inflate and prepare water walking balls
- Help guests safely enter and exit water activities
- Retrieve water walking balls from the lake when needed
- Assist customers with bicycle boats
- Monitor activity areas and ensure customer safety
- Explain safety instructions and rules to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Swimming ability (preferred)
- Physically able to move and handle equipment
- Responsible, punctual, and reliable
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Team player with a positive attitude
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset (not required)
- Training will be provided
