Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service.
- Diagnose issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
- Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
- Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
Experience:
- Automotive repair: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- 310s and or 310t (preferred)
