Mr. Metal is a thriving small metal distributor located in Etobicoke. Our current company is full of energetic, knowledgeable and friendly staff and we are looking to add one more member to the team. We are looking for an experienced, punctual, hardworking individual who is willing to help out wherever they are needed. The primary role of the position will be as a warehouse associate where you will be responsible for assisting with general operations. Mr. Metal is a growing company and as such we are always willing to help our loyal employees progress in their careers.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift a minimum of 60lbs
- Able to bend, kneel, lift constantly
- Good hygiene
- Able to work with different personality types
- Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Able to work from 8-5 Monday thru Friday
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. The following qualifications are required for this position.
- previous experience in the metal industry exceeding a year
- previous experience running saws and shears
- previously licensed or experienced driving tow motors
Our business depends on team work and cooperation so applicants must be team players who are always willing to lay a helping hand. Applicants will ideally have a driver’s license in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, to move and organize products.
- Perform order picking and fulfillment tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Load and unload shipments, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with delivery personnel.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
