Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Foreman to oversee daily operations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will lead teams, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. The Production Foreman will play a pivotal role in coordinating activities, supervising staff, and ensuring projects adhere to specifications and regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
- Lead and manage construction crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to meet project deadlines.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements.
- Utilize construction management software such as AccuLynx
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets safety standards and project specifications.
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes to ensure resource allocation aligns with project scope.
- Monitor progress and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize delays or rework.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings with team members.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in construction or related fields.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Excellent understanding of quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of work quality.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in planning and execution.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
