Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong background in dealership settings. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles using advanced mechanical knowledge and schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and accurately
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for complex repairs or upgrades
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and the use of personal protective equipment
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards at all times
Experience
- Proven dealership mechanic experience or equivalent automotive repair background
- Proficiency in using schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
- Hands-on experience with welding, assembly, and maintenance of automotive systems
- Familiarity with the use of various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement
- Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicle makes and models
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Prior experience working with automotive schematics and performing detailed diagnostics is highly preferred
Pay: $23.56-$48.60 per hour
