Propell, is looking for experienced Mechanical Assemblers to join our Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday). Our Mechanical Assemblers will have hands-on experience using tools, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work confidently with hydraulic and mechanical systems. In this role, you will assemble components, sub-assemblies, and full systems, ensuring all products meet our high standards for quality, performance, and safety. You’ll play an important part in our production team, contributing to the assembly, troubleshooting, installation, and testing of equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete units according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments.
- Inspect assemblies to ensure proper fit, function, and adherence to customer and engineering requirements.
- Follow verbal and written instructions, including schematics, work instructions, and drawings.
- Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
- Complete quality documentation, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and inspection verifications as required.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and hydraulic tools safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist co-workers and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.
What you bring:
- Proven experience working with tools and mechanical assembly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Competency using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a production environment.
- High attention to detail, consistency, and workmanship.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
