We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Tinter to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality window tinting films to vehicles, ensuring a professional finish that meets customer expectations. Prior dealership experience or mechanic background is highly valued, and the ability to work efficiently with hand tools and power tools is essential.
Responsibilities
- Professionally apply window tinting films to various vehicle models, ensuring precise cuts and smooth finishes
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and masking areas as needed before tint application
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to cut, trim, and install window films accurately
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring there are no bubbles, creases, or imperfections
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Assist with vehicle detailing or minor repairs as required, leveraging mechanical knowledge when applicable
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their tinting needs and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in automotive applications
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary during installation or equipment setup
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Experience with automotive window tinting or similar film application is a plus
- Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent manual dexterity and steady hand coordination for precise work
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
