We have an immediate need for experienced Journeyman Electricians as well as 3rd and 4th year apprentices to join our team on new commercial construction projects in the Lower Mainland.

What we should expect of you:
- Experienced in commercial tenant improvements and renovations
- Possess a good understanding of the electrical trade including but not limited to: single and 3 phase systems; circuit layout, loading, wiring/terminations; installation of lighting devices and lighting control systems; ability to read engineered drawings
- Journeyman should have experience with distribution installations and maintenance
- Some fire alarm and data communication systems installation experience would be an asset
- Able to work cohesively in a team environment and efficiently on your own to meet aggressive timelines
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn new skills
- Ability to communicate proficiently using the English language
- Able to work 8-hour days, 5 days a week, some evenings, overtime, and weekends
- Have a dependable means of transportation or have access to public transit to arrive at jobsites on time, all the time
- Own your own essential trade tools
- Willing to work in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond and throughout the lower mainland
Job Responsibilities
General Scope of Work consists of but is not limited to electrical layout based on the scope of work shown on engineered drawings. Many projects will include service upgrades or implementation of disconnects, transformers and electrical panels; Rough-in boxes and EMT, pull wire and splicing, lighting/switching installation.
As a Journeyman, you will conduct site safety/job box talks and delegate tasks to your immediate onsite team. You will oversee apprentice work and provide guidance on proper trade practices and installation methods. You will also perform installation duties, communicate progress, material orders and raise concerns with the Project Manager. You are the company representative onsite and will liaise with the General Contractor and other trades to foster a great working relationship to move the project seamlessly to completion on time.
