We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Ground Hand to support our tree crew. This is a physically demanding, outdoor job that plays a key role in safe and efficient tree removal, trimming, and site cleanup. You’ll work directly under climbers and equipment operators to keep the job site running smoothly.
●Key Responsibilities
•Assist climbers and arborists during tree removals and pruning operations
•Drag, and stack brush and wood debris
•Handle ropes, rigging lines, and basic knot tying
•Maintain a clean and organized worksite
•Help with equipment setup, fueling, and basic maintenance
•Act as a spotter for safety during cutting and equipment operation
•Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
●Requirements
•Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
•Ability to perform heavy physical labor in all weather conditions
•Comfortable working around chainsaws and heavy equipment
•Good awareness of surroundings and safety practices
•Reliable transportation to job sites
•Valid driver’s license (preferred)
•Experience in tree work, landscaping, or construction is an asset but not required
•First Aid certification
