The JL’s Group is a family of four Home Hardware locations. Three locations in Guelph and our newest location in Stayner. JL’s caters to a wide range of clients from do-it-yourself customers to custom home builders. What makes us different from other home improvement retailers is our people. Job Description
- Determine customer’s needs by asking open-ended questions.
- Communicate product knowledge to the customer as appropriate.
- Assist customers in locating and comparing merchandise.
- Assist customers with finding all items needed to complete their project.
- Process special orders for non-stock or out of stock items.
- Work on additional duties and assignments as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Able to work flexible hours and weekends.
- Customer service oriented.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work co-operatively in a team atmosphere.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management, employees, and delivery personnel.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Retail, sales or customer service experience is an asset.
- Construction or home renovation knowledge is an asset.
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
