Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Engage with guests to provide friendly, attentive service, addressing special requests and resolving issues promptly
- Assist in food handling and serving duties to ensure proper presentation and quality of all menu items
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills while maintaining high service standards
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food safety protocols and customer service excellence
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, basic math skills for cash handling, and food safety regulations
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that enhances the guest experience
- Prior hospitality or serving experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential
