Real Estate and Estates Law Clerk
We are currently seeking a Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team in our St. Catharines office. Experience with Wills and Estates would be considered an asset.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a real estate law clerk and will be responsible for managing all aspects of residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from start to finish.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. All applications will be held in the strictest confidence.
Responsibilities:
· Manage residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from initial intake through final closing, including preparing documents for purchases, sales, and mortgages.
· Conduct title searches using Teraview.
· Monitor closing timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
· Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties throughout the transaction.
· Provide general administrative support, including answering telephones, greeting clients, processing mail, and assisting with reception duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk.
· Proficiency with Teraview, LDD and Microsoft Office is required.
· Experience handling residential and/or commercial real estate files from start to finish.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with lawyers, law clerks, and clients.
· Positive attitude and willingness to assist and support team members.
· Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills.
· Experience with Wills and Estates is an asset.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
