Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and drive successful project outcomes from the very start. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure competitive pricing and project feasibility. Your expertise will help us secure new projects, optimize budgets, and deliver high-quality construction solutions efficiently. Duties
- Develop comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope documents using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information and negotiate favorable terms that align with project budgets.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals, including cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Review project plans and specifications thoroughly to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions and project requirements.
- Utilize construction estimating techniques to forecast costs accurately while maintaining competitive edge in bidding processes.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of Interior system mechanics construction processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in estimating software is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Strong project management abilities to coordinate multiple bids simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes in multiple provinces, and industry best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex plans and specifications critically to produce accurate estimates.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and suppliers.
