JOB OPPORTUNITY
The District of Rainy River Services Board (DRRSB) is seeking a permanent full-time Customer Service
Representative to join our team in Fort Frances, ON. Reporting to the Children’s Services and Income
Support Manager, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides front-line customer service and
administrative support while coordinating routine operational, communication, and data-related tasks
across programs. The role supports accessible, respectful, and person-centered service delivery and
contributes to organizational efficiency and responsiveness.
The successful candidate will possess the following competencies:
Grade 12 diploma with a minimum of 1 year of work-related experience and the ability to understand
routine work procedures.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to exercise courtesy, tact,
discretion and persuasion.
Knowledge and understanding of clerical and administrative procedures, operating and monitoring
general office equipment, and experience performing respectful customer service duties.
Experience with financial processing, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, accurate data
entry across multiple systems and basic reconciliation, is required.
Demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion
when handling confidential and sensitive information.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and coordinate routine tasks, activities, and projects, including
scheduling and logistical support.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise initiative, and contribute effectively
within a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated sound judgment and problem-solving skills to address routine operational matters by
applying established procedures, policies, and standard practices.
Proficient computer skills and the ability to work within a computerized environment.
Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations necessary to carry out the functions of
the job.
Must provide the satisfactory outcome of a CPIC Vulnerable Sector Screen as a condition of
employment.
The 2026 hourly rate of pay for this position is $27.44. We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefit
